In May 2026, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei told an audience at the Briefing: Financial Services event that SaaS companies whose moat is software complexity will, in his words, “completely go bust” — and that companies who recognize the shift and pivot will do better than before.

We didn’t pivot to this.
